Sarah Merghani
Founder & Executive Director
Sarah Merghani is a Global Health student at York University, specializing in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention with a certificate in Refugee & Migration Studies. As the founder of the Displacement & Health Relief Network (DHRN), she brings together academic insight and lived experience to lead grassroots humanitarian relief, refugee advocacy, and youth engagement initiatives grounded in justice and care.
Beyond her studies, Sarah serves as the Lab Coordinator and Research Assistant at the Wellness Impact Lab, where she supports research on climate distress and mental health. Her commitment to social impact is reflected in her community leadership and in her work amplifying displaced voices through platforms like Voices on the Move.
