In May 2025, the RSF militia launched a brutal assault on El Fasher, North Darfur — a city already sheltering one of the largest internally displaced populations in Sudan. After the RSF invaded Zamzam Camp, over 1 million people were displaced once again, many of them women and children.
DHRN is responding with a Sudanese-led emergency kitchen serving over 1,200 displaced people currently sheltering in El Fasher. These families have lost everything — they have no food, no medication, and no stable shelter.
We’re currently raising $5,000 CAD to provide hot meals, clean water, and essential supplies through this community kitchen. All aid is distributed in direct partnership with trusted local volunteers on the ground.
