Ann Kwarteng

Blog Writer & Event Planner

Ann Kwarteng is a fifth year student in the Global Health (BSc) program at York University, specializing in Health Policy, Management and Systems. Ann brings expertise in research and health frameworks relating to health inequities as a SSHRC URSA award and Lilian Meighen Wright Maternal Child Health undergraduate scholarship holder. Ann has an immense interest in social justice issues and the way in which these struggles intersect.

 

Ann has been a member of the Global and Environmental Lab since February 2024, playing an active role in the following research projects: 1) Retooling Black Anxiety and 2) Household Energy Insecurity and Health Assessment. As a Blog Writer and Event Planner, Ann hopes to bring awareness to the neglected ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan and help those doing meaningful work on the ground.
